Sporting Facilities
Sporting activities are well catered for on Thesen Islands.
There are two all-weather tennis courts lit by powerful floodlights for those balmy summer evenings. They are sunken below ground level to minimize the impact of the daytime coastal breezes.
  
A state-of-the-art squash court is in the adjacent building. There are viewing, change and refreshment facilities on site.
An 18 hole, par 3 putting green has been constructed on the south-eastern tip of Plantation Island. This is a fun course with wonderful vistas of the estuary and the famous Knysna Heads.
Adjacent to the putting green is a beach volley ball court, in the form of an amphitheatre, surrounded by a high grassed berm which affords the players protection from the wind.
The most recent addition to the sporting facilities on Thesen Islands are the cricket practice nets next to the club house.
